35 Affirmations for Depression, Get Out of It!

We live in a world that is not built for our delicate minds.

The pace of this system is for machines, not for human beings.

Anxiety and depression are modern diseases. Because of it, it is absolutely normal to have self-defeating thoughts because nobody thought us how to love ourselves daily.

No magic potion can heal you in the long run, instead only you can do it. You are the master of your thoughts, your own world. That is the amount of power you have!

Unfortunately, even if we didn’t ask for it, a lot of hurt and negative talk is done by the others and most of all – by ourselves.

In order to reprogram your subconscious mind, use these statements (positive affirmations for depression) continually to encourage and, later on, embrace the self-love you need.

  1. “Be Peaceful and Positive – Emotions Cause Physiological Response In Your Body”

There is a strong physiological reaction when negative emotions consume us.

But, lucky for us, the same happens with good emotions. It depends on you if you’re going to allow the negativeness to eat you, or to turn things around and say “I don’t need that” and embrace the self-acceptance and self-love.

Keep in mind, that being positive doesn’t mean be a fake happy person.

It’s not normal to be 24/7 happy, everything is sunshine, and everything is so fluffy. No, this is life. Just be real to you, give and do your best!

  2. “Allow Only Healthy and Loving Relationships In Your Life.”

We can’t choose our parents, but we can for sure choose our friends and partners.

Be able to differentiate between a healthy relationship and an unhealthy one. What people who surround us do and say influents us more than you can even imagine.

  3. “The Only Approval You Need Is Your Own.”

Stop seeking validation from the wrong sources.

They are inaccurate, changeable, subjective opinions and if you continuously do that, you will never be good enough for yourself. And guess for who you have to be good enough?

For you and yourself only! Your validation is the only validation that matters.

  4. “You are Allowed to.”

This sentence might sound half-done, but it isn’t. Here’s why:

    1. You are allowed to exist and be whatever you want to be.
    2. You are allowed to express pain, you are allowed to cry.
    3. You are allowed to make mistakes.
    4. You are allowed to outgrow people.
    5. You are allowed to love yourself, more than you love others.

The most beautiful thing about us humans is that each and every one of us is different.

What system wants from us is to become the same. That’s why when we see something in ourselves that is different than in our surroundings.

We think that something might be wrong with us. False, that is you, and that ‘you’ should learn to accept ‘you’ as you are.

  5. “Your Emotional State Shouldn’t Make Decisions for You.”

The depressive state you’re in, or the angry state you’re in, never should influence your actions.

You should make decisions consciously and thoughtfully, each and every one. Your actions should only come from your calm state of mind.

    Depression will not last forever!

Sleep on it, think about it. Find a good spiritual connection with yourself and good decisions will come naturally.
